Lagos Life is a free browser life simulation set in Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja. Play at lagoslife.app, and plan needs, work, housing and travel before you spend. Game Naira is fictional money, with no bank withdrawal.
Three useful first actions
Begin with needs: eat, sleep and bathe. Open Phone → Jobs, then Go to work when eligible. Create your account and choose a background before you settle into the first-day routine.
Understand the start you choose
Nepo Baby starts you with family help, a car, paid rent and 500,000 game Naira. City profiles differ: Lekki/Banking in Lagos, Wuse 2/Civil Service in Abuja, Woji/Oil & Gas in Port Harcourt. LAPO adds 60,000 cash and 72,000 debt with 12,000 weekly dues, Hustle level 2 and 25% faster skill learning.
Choose work by skills and schedule
Compare all 33 careers by skill, workplace, start time, scheduled days and level. Listed pay is gross per completed shift. Full active work counts 60 game minutes; an eight-hour schedule is separate. Attendance, policies, bonuses and tax change credited pay.
Separate rent, moving and starting cash
Compare 15 homes. Moving costs two adjusted rent weeks plus one agent/agreement fee and prepays 14 game days. At base prices, Mushin rent of 2,400 gives a 7,200 move total. Starting-home cash and current wealth-scaled move costs are separate.
Find a venue before paying to travel
Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja hold 136 venues in separate game-map spaces, not on GPS. Check the city, the area, the posted hours, any time gate and your account. Trek, Keke, Danfo, Okada, Cab and your own car are local. Flights, coaches and intercity driving have their own prices.

At the base wealth-price tier, moving costs two weeks of rent in advance plus one agent or agreement fee. Starting cash is the money you begin with, not that charge. Ikoyi, Banana Island and the other later homes use the same rule at their own rents, and a higher wealth-price multiplier raises every charge.

Does listed income guarantee that I can afford a move?
No. Listed shift pay is a comparison value before modifiers, and your actual disposable savings can be lower after other costs. A move also uses the current price multiplier. Keep enough for needs, transport and a repayment if you chose LAPO, and check the live Houses screen before committing.
